Martine Hébert, PhD, co-holder of the Marie-Vincent Interuniversity Chair, recently received a prestigious recognition for her accomplishments. She is now a member of the Royal Society of Canada, the highest Canadian honour that can be granted to a university professor working in the fields of arts, humanities and science.

Ms. Hébert holds the Canada Research Chair in Interpersonal Traumas and Resilience. She is internationally recognized for her work on the diversity of profiles among young victims of sexual violence. She has helped to develop and implement prevention and service programs that foster resilience among trauma victims.
