The journey that lies before them, developing resilience and learning how to adapt to this new reality, is complex, challenging and requires a multidisciplinary approach as well as the support of qualified and compassionate professionals.
How we support these children throughout this process is crucial. Their ability to adapt after overcoming the unimaginable relies heavily on how well they are supported by professionals in the socio-judicial sector.
Given this fact, Marie-Vincent has resolved to be a source of positive change, firmly committed to better address the training needs of professionals who support young victims.
Our training programs are designed for:Employees working for a Crime Victims Assistance Centre (CAVAC), legal aid, the Crown and the Director of Youth Protection (DYP), investigators, lawyers for the sector’s community organizations, professionals providing medico-social interventions and psychotherapeutic services, as well as community organization staff members. |
Our impact in 2022–2023: expanding our range of training courses for the socio-judicial sector
2022–2023 has been a critical year in the development and expansion of our training programs for the socio-judicial field. Thanks to the support of the Quebec Ministry of Justice and our collaboration with the École nationale de police du Québec (ENPQ), we increased our influence and intensified our impact across this sector.
