On June 5, a bright sunny day, an enthusiastic group gathered to celebrate the second anniversary of our centre in Montérégie. For the occasion, we held an open house where people met, mingled and made some interesting finds. The event brought together close to two dozen people, including several partners and donors, demonstrating the positive impact we’ve had in the region since we opened the centre.
Our guests were particularly impressed by our progress over the past two years and by our staff’s unwavering commitment to young people and our mission. It was also a real pleasure to see our promotional items being such a hit with those in attendance!
The day also offered a unique occasion for people interested in career opportunities at Marie-Vincent to meet our team and discover the professional opportunities within our organization.
Achievements and highlights of the past year:
- 123 youths supported, an increase of nearly 65% from the previous year;
- 1,110 hours of treatment, almost double over the previous year;
- 127 requests for services;
- 10-month wait time, on average;
- 24 investigative police interviews conducted
