Marie-Vincent Auction: $15,870 raised in support of Marie-Vincent mission

Marie-Vincent’s very first online auction, which ran from November 28 to December 14, has come to a close. Thanks to the exceptional collaboration of the Bonsoir bonsoir! TV show and several committed partners, we raised an astonishing $15,870 to support young victims of sexual violence and develop prevention and training programs.

51 bidders seized the opportunity to treat themselves and their loved ones, right before the holidays, while lending their support to Marie-Vincent. Thank you to everyone who took part in our auction: your enthusiasm means a lot to us.

A broad array of one-of-a-kind objects and unforgettable experiences 

Earlier this year, in June and July, each guest artist on the Bonsoir bonsoir! TV show could gift a personal item for the Marie-Vincent Auction. Our ever-generous allies also offered some exclusive experiences. A total of 90 lots were put to auction.

The amount raised will make a significant contribution to our goal, namely to consolidate Marie-Vincent’s recent expansion and provide better access to its all-important services. The funds collected will have a direct impact in helping even more young people look toward a more hopeful future after overcoming the unimaginable.

A thoroughly committed community

This event could not have been such a resounding success without the unwavering support of our spokesperson Mélissa Désormeaux-Poulin and every single participant. We also want to express our deep gratitude to our partners and the Bonsoir bonsoir! guest artists for their generosity and commitment to our cause. The auction’s success owes a great deal to everyone who put in a bid, shared the information on social media and showed their support.

And many thanks to the Followmybid team; they very kindly provided us with a user-friendly platform that helped increase the impact of our auction and took our fundraising efforts to the next level.

Building on the success of this first edition, Marie-Vincent is looking to the future, sustained by the support of its community and determined to remain engaged for a world free of sexual violence.

To our winning bidders, please note that you have until December 17 to pay for your lot on the auction’s platform Followmybid. If your lot is a ticket, you will receive it via email once the payment is made. If your lot is a physical item, you can make your payment (credit, debit, cash) and claim it directly at our Montréal location. Please contact Noémie Barrette beforehand.
