On June 11, at our annual general meeting, we paid tribute to two members of our board of directors, Dominic Bécotte and François De Broux, who are completing their terms of office. Their dedication and commitment have been invaluable to Marie-Vincent and the young people we support. Between them, they were the driving force behind “Marvin on the Rock” and the CFO Dinner, two of our organization’s flagship fundraising events that have raised close to $6 million to date.

After 11 years on the board of directors, Dominic Bécotte leaves Marie-Vincent as his baby, “Marvin on the Rock,” turns 10!

“Dominic, you’ve played a crucial role in transforming this event into a not-to-be-missed happening. Your openness, boundless enthusiasm and ambition have helped raise vital funds to support young victims of sexual violence.”

Anne-Cécile Lattes, director, Major and Planned Gifts,

François De Broux, whose commitment, passion and wisdom have been a pillar of our success over the past decade, has chaired the CFO Dinner organizing committee for many years.

“François, thanks to your connections with finance professionals in Québec, you made this event a benchmark for the business community, thus enhancing our protective community.”

Émilie Dumas, director, Events and Community Relations

“Your exemplary leadership, clear vision and passion not only facilitated our work, but inspired each and every one of us to give our best. Thank you for your commitment to the board and its committees throughout your tenure.”

Jessica Pathy, chairman of the board

“THANK YOU Dominic and François for everything you have contributed to our team and our cause. You leave a lasting legacy to Marie-Vincent. Thank you for being part of our protective community!”

Stéphanie Gareau, general manager
