The 13th edition of the CFO Dinner took place on May 22, and Marie-Vincent’s flagship event raised over $335,000 in support of young victims of sexual violence. A total of 130 guests attended this exceptional evening, during which six CFOs were paired with chefs to prepare a five-course gourmet dinner. The event ended on a memorable note with a candlelight dinner due to a power outage!

Under the theme A Forest of Flavours and Hope, the CFO and chef duos created a sophisticated gastronomic universe inspired by local delicacies.

Hosted by journalist and presenter Monic Néron, the evening provided an excellent networking opportunity for Montreal’s business community in the sophisticated setting of the Dominion Warehouses. Mélissa Désormeaux-Poulin, actress and spokesperson for Marie-Vincent, was also in attendance and addressed the audience to express her commitment to our cause.

During the dinner, Shophika Vaithyanathasarma, a former beneficiary of Marie-Vincent’s services, and Anne-Charlotte Givern-Héroux, Marie-Vincent’s psychosocial counsellor for families, shared their testimonies. Their stories highlighted the essential nature of Marie-Vincent’s support in helping young victims to regain hope.

Several members of the Marie-Vincent Board of Directors were present, including Jessica Pathy, Chairwoman of the Board, who paid tribute to François De Broux. Mr De Broux has been part of the organizing committee of the CFO Dinner for more than 10 years and has made a major contribution to the success of this gastronomic event.

The CFO Dinner was made possible thanks to the generosity of our chef and CFO duos, the members of the organizing committee, our partners and sponsors, our donors, our volunteers, the Marie-Vincent team and everyone who attended the evening.

Thank you for your support! You’re helping to build a safe community for our young people!
