Hosted by Mélissa Désormeaux-Poulin and Patrice Bélanger, the Marvin on the Rock event, presented by TELUS, took place March 22 at Arsenal. Created five years ago by Dominic Bécotte, Partner at XPND Capital and member of the Foundation’s Board of Directors, this event showcases 10 corporate leaders whith no musical experience but plenty of courage and generosity. They take on the stage to deliver an unforgettable musical performance. The singers experience stress and stage fright and then come off the stage completely transformed—a nod to the courage that children show when they break the silence around their experiences of sexual violence.
This year, Marc Hervieux and Florence K provided music direction for Marvin on the Rock. They guided the singers in their preparation, in choosing their songs and in their on-stage performances.
