At Marie-Vincent, we are fortunate to be able to count on the vital contribution of a large corporate and private philanthropic network that helps ensure the continuity of our operations. In addition to benefiting from this essential financial support, we are gratified by the growing number of individuals and companies sympathetic to our mission, who organize events from which all or part of the proceeds are donated to us.

A charitable event can take a variety of forms: an auction, a cocktail reception, a casino night, participation in an athletic challenge, a Christmas party, a vernissage, sales of promotional items at a corporate event, a golf tournament, and more. Marie-Vincent has a team of professionals dedicated to philanthropic activities to guide, advise and support you in organizing an event for which a donation to Marie-Vincent is planned.

In 2023, some dozen such activities garnered more than $40,000 in support of Marie-Vincent’s cause. Here are a few examples:

  • The students and staff of Collège Letendre in Laval raised funds for Marie-Vincent by holding special “colour days”;
  • Diane Miville, grade two teacher at Saint-Marc de Candiac school, hosted members of the Marie-Vincent team in her classroom and enabled us to collect armloads of gifts for young people at the Montérégie centre;
  • As part of the OCTAS awards ceremony, Réseau action TI donated the proceeds of its auction to Marie-Vincent;
  • The Amical golf tournament in Granby, organized by Mario Beaulieu, with profits donated to Marie-Vincent.
  • Boiteau Immobilier held a fundraiser in support of the Marie-Vincent mission;
  • Trans Canada Capital Inc. chose Marie-Vincent as the beneficiary of an in-house auction;
  • Pierre Clermont raised funds as a participant in a 75 km ultra-marathon;
  • Flashday Halloween: Five tattoo artists donated 30% of the proceeds of a tattooing event at Usine Espace Public – Brasseur de quartier;
  • Groupe Montoni donated the proceeds of a Christmas breakfast held for its employees;
  • Aon Parizeau donated some of the proceeds from their Casino Night;
  • The Canadian Institute of Plumbing and Heating chose Marie-Vincent as the recipient of proceeds from their Christmas party.

An event has already taken place, and several others are scheduled in 2024:

  • GLOW THE EVENT on February 17th, with profits donated to Marie-Vincent;
  • Juliette Comtois-Béïque, who is holding a 30-day ice bath challenge, with funds going to Marie-Vincent;
  • Steve Marissette, who will donate funds raised at a judo competition in November 2024;
  • Académie Michèle Provost, which will donate funds to Marie-Vincent from a basketball tournament.
