Marvin’s Circle is a network of young professionals committed to creating a world free from sexual violence. As ambassadors, they leverage their expertise and networks to make a difference, notably by raising awareness in their communities and respective circles to initiate a new dialogue and drive a change in mindsets. Marvin’s Circle is the driving force behind the Ombré gala and plays a central role in promoting Marie-Vincent’s mission and values.
Since its creation in 2011, Marvin’s Circle has raised over $430,000 through various initiatives, with the aim of spotlighting a cause that resonates deeply with the young business community.
Prosecutor, Director of Criminal and Penal Prosecutions (DPCP)
Karine Lagacé-Paquette earned her law degree from the Université de Montréal in 2007 and was called to the Québec Bar in 2008. For several years, she has served as a criminal and penal prosecutor, specifically on the team dedicated to sexual violence and child abuse cases. Due to her direct involvement with children in judicial proceedings, she shares the dream of a world without violence. It was a natural fit for her to get involved with Marie-Vincent and help improve the lives of children.
Assistant Vice-President – Consulting, Wealth Management Solutions, National Bank Financial
A lawyer by training, Marie-Claude Vernier began her career specializing in litigation, including civil, commercial, and professional liability at a major private firm. She also leveraged her experience in litigation and regulatory investigations for National Bank Financial. With nearly 10 years of experience in the financial industry, she recently accepted the challenge of leading a team of 15 people working on wealth management solution architecture for National Bank Financial advisors. Getting involved with Marie-Vincent is natural for her as the cause of youth is particularly close to her heart. Not only has she served on a school governing board, but she also co-founded an organization aimed at raising awareness about the hypersexualization of young women. For these reasons, she is dedicated to supporting vulnerable children and adolescents.

As a Senior Analyst at National Bank Financial, David Bastien is a key member of a team of experts supporting nearly 900 wealth management advisors across Canada. He plays an essential role in developing strategies to ensure the competitiveness and appeal of fee-based programs by actively monitoring the competition and staying abreast of industry trends. Acting as a consulting specialist for wealth management advisors, he guides them in reviewing their pricing and making informed strategic decisions to meet changing market needs.
Audrey is a Senior Consultant on Mercer’s M&A team, specializing in the human capital aspects of transactions. Her current role, along with her previous experience as an HR Manager at Bombardier, has led her to work on highly complex projects and transactions, applying her project management skills and business acumen. Audrey joined the Marvin’s Circle team to support Marie-Vincent’s cause, which is deeply important to her.
Annie Brisebois completed her law degree at the University of Ottawa in 2021 and has been a member of the Québec Bar since 2023. She focuses her practice on business law, particularly mergers and acquisitions and corporate reorganizations. Attentive and others-oriented, she enjoys new challenges and deepening her knowledge. Driven by a desire to make a difference, she naturally committed herself to the Marie-Vincent Foundation.
Juliette Comtois Béïque is a passionate and committed real estate broker at RE/MAX Crystal. She guides her clients with expertise and determination through property purchases and sales, ensuring every transaction is handled with confidence. Her professionalism and human approach make her a valuable ally for her clients’ real estate projects. Involved in charitable causes for over 15 years, Juliette has supported several foundations through various fundraisers. Her life path led her to get actively involved with the Marie-Vincent Foundation, a cause particularly close to her heart. She has completed several fundraisers, including a 30-day ice bath challenge, and pledges $200 per real estate transaction to support the foundation.
Jeanne Gagné is a prosecutor for the DPCP in Montréal. She handles cases involving sexual violence, child abuse, and domestic violence. Having started her career at Legal Aid in Montréal, she has always placed the most vulnerable citizens at the heart of her motivation. Involvement and commitment characterize her career. She volunteers for the Young Bar of Montréal and has served on its Board of Directors since 2021, in addition to dedicating time to several workplace committees and associations. Personally, she shares her athletic and musical skills with children and adolescents as a coach and teacher. It is in this spirit of continuity that she serves youth and the mission of the Marie-Vincent Foundation.
William Provost is an associate at National Bank Financial and has been working in the financial services sector for nearly three years. A graduate in Business Administration (Finance) and former VP of External Affairs for the HEC Finance Committee, he seeks to build sustainable business relationships to contribute to the success of projects he cares about. After serving as an ambassador for the Ombré gala, he is proud to take on this new challenge by joining Marvin’s Circle and contributing to this worthy cause.
Andreea Rusu has been a lawyer since 2010 and works at the Montréal office of Norton Rose Fulbright. She focuses her practice on health and safety law. Before moving to private practice, she worked for over ten years in the legal department of the CNESST. Andreea is the mother of two wonderful boys. She is actively involved in the community and is proud to join Marvin’s Circle, as the cause of youth is especially important to her.
A lawyer and economist by training, Olivier has worked in energy and climate change for over 15 years. He is currently responsible for Alcoa’s strategic and commercial issues in North America regarding energy and carbon markets. He also represents Alcoa on three joint ventures and within various organizations.
Juliette Fournier works at WSP Canada as a biodiversity consultant and environmental impact assessment professional. Her background in geography and her Master’s in Management and Sustainable Development allow her to effectively navigate her professional challenges. Since March 2025, she has also served as the representative for the Montréal office, the company’s headquarters. Her goal is to create a stimulating, welcoming, and mobilizing work environment. Having worked for a non-profit at the start of her career, she is mindful of the challenges surrounding social funding. She became an ambassador to contribute to the long-term sustainability of the Marie-Vincent Foundation.
Louis-Alexandre Lefebvre is a newly appointed associate wealth management advisor with the Chartier Grandmaison Leclerc team at National Bank Financial. For 11 years, Louis-Alexandre was a Regional Director at National Bank Investments, partnering with Montréal-area advisors on investment products and asset allocation. Today, he continues his passion by helping families and investors achieve their life and financial goals. He is an avid tennis player, a passionate pianist, and has two young children with his partner Audrey.
Christine is a seasoned finance professional with degrees from HEC Montréal and the Université de Sherbrooke (M.Sc. Finance). She is also a CPA, reflecting her rigorous expertise and commitment to excellence. With nearly 15 years of experience, she has held several key roles at Agropur over the last 12 years, notably contributing to the digital transformation of the finance and commercial sectors. Beyond her career, Christine is the mother of two boys and is deeply involved in her community. She dreams of a world without violence where everyone can grow in a safe and benevolent environment. As an ambassador, she brings her heart and voice to support Marie-Vincent’s mission.
Frédérique Hébert is an ambitious and disciplined professional. She holds a degree in Interior Design and a degree in Criminology (Mental Health specialization) from UdeM. Alongside her years in psychosocial intervention, she has over 10 years of experience in the restaurant and event industries. After leading the zootherapy department at the Douglas Mental Health University Institute for two years, she founded a zootherapy intervention company in 2017 for vulnerable youth. Frédérique joined Félix Jasmin in 2019 as Sales Director. A former Modern Pentathlon athlete, she organizes and participates in various sporting events and is involved in foundations focused on child development, mental health, and youth access to sports.
Laurent Simpson is a passionate Client Relations Manager with over 7 years of experience at Croesus. His background has allowed him to acquire a deep understanding of financial sector challenges and develop personalized strategies for each client. Beyond his professional commitment, Laurent is deeply moved by the Foundation’s cause, as his wife is actively involved with victims of sexual violence. This personal connection reinforces his desire to have a positive impact in both his career and his community.
