Marie<\/span>\u2011Vincent is an organization that supports children and adolescents who are victims of sexual violence by offering, under one roof and in collaboration with our partners, the services they need. We also\u00a0assist\u00a0children displaying problematic sexual\u00a0behaviours\u00a0and, in addition to this clinical support, we develop innovative and diverse sexual violence prevention initiatives as well as training programs that reach thousands of professionals working with youth every year.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As part of our mission, service delivery, events, training activities, communications, fundraising\u00a0initiatives\u00a0and various solicitations, we collect,\u00a0use\u00a0and\u00a0disclose\u00a0personal information in an ethical and rigorous manner.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Marie<\/span>\u2011Vincent is committed to protecting your personal information\u00a0in accordance with\u00a0its practices and the requirements set out in applicable laws. To that end, Marie<\/span>\u2011Vincent has adopted this Privacy and Website Security Policy (the\u00a0\u201c<\/span>Policy<\/span><\/b>\u201d). This Policy sets out Marie<\/span>\u2011Vincent\u2019s practices\u00a0<\/span>regarding\u00a0the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information via our website<\/span>\u00a0and applies to the situations described in Section 2. It does not apply to personal information obtained and processed in connection with our clinical services to minor children. These services involve support from our team and require the reading and completion of multiple consent forms by the person responsible for the child,\u00a0in accordance with\u00a0applicable laws.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For ease of reading, we refer to ourselves as \u201c<\/span>Marie<\/span><\/b>\u2011Vincent<\/span><\/b>\u201d\u00a0or simply\u00a0\u201cwe.\u201d\u00a0By providing personal information after having had the opportunity to review this Policy, you consent to your personal information being processed\u00a0in accordance with\u00a0it.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to this Policy, Marie<\/span>\u2011Vincent has also adopted an internal policy governing the management of personal information. Its purpose is to set out the principles governing the protection of personal information\u00a0in the course of\u00a0our activities and operations. It\u00a0contains\u00a0guidelines\u00a0regarding\u00a0the handling of personal information throughout its lifecycle as well as the roles and responsibilities of the person responsible for the protection of personal information and those of staff members.
